It's hard to climb out of bed on a cold foggy morning, but I feel it was worth it. I have spent weeks reading the instruction manual of this camera and I am becoming more comfortable using the manual mode, setting the "in camera" contrast, saturation, and image sharpness. This shot was taken with the camera on a tripod and using manual focus and selecting the aperture. Light metering was point selected on the headstone in the centre. I use the 3:2 ration size as it prints well without cropping on A4 paper. I have used the digital darkroom to rotate the image slightly, saturate the green in the bush on the left and the small red flower on the right, and apply a very small amount of sharpening. The bevel edge and mounting was also done in the digital darkroom.
