About Another from the cold foggy morning at the cemetery. The original was a colour photo, there have been no image cropping or corrections. I was tempted to remove the three small white dots from the cast iron lace at the "foot" of the grave. Close inspection of the full size TIFF image revealed that these were drops of water, dew from the moisture in the air, so it's right that they remain.
Sepia work was carried out in PhotoShop following a very simple and effective procedure I read on line written by Antonio Iacovelli.

Colin, i love what you did to this photo---it couldn't possibly have been half as atmospheric in color! Such a mood! Great composition, too.
I'm really getting into b&w and sepia photos now...soon I'll begin posting again. Have you ever tried using a holga (toy) camera? something to look into, you might like it.
I'm off to look at the rest of your portfolio

A beautifully haunting image. Looks like it belongs in the pages of an old ghost story. The tone and softness in the background really help to emphasize this feeling. Really nice!

I like this, the slight mood of tilt which I imagine comes from an actual tilt of the stone is perfect.
