About	Tyto alba. #259 On Thursday night, my friend Alejandro Morales found a nest of Barn Owls at his house in Santa Clara. Due to the afternoon strong winds, the nest felt down from a palm tree. I was monitoring the activity from 11:00PM to 12 and saw their parents dropping off food at least 3 times in less than 1 hour. The babies are on the ground and due to their high vulnerability to predators; they will be taking to a nearby wildlife re-habilitation center. Thank you Hano. This pic is dedicated to you my friend. Nice story Yamil - Well presented... As everyone else notes, hope they all make out ok!! Like Bill said tho' - pretty hard to believe these gawky vulture-like little things turn out to be such an attractive end-result.

Nice catch Yamil. Sure hope things work out for them. You know I've always thought Barn Owls were the most beautiful of the Owl family..As adults anyway. Looking at these 3 ugly guys it's hard to believe they will grow up to be so beautiful.
