you're absolutely right about that... in normal photo the sky (as you can see from the water) was simple...blue! I take pieces of clouds from other photo and put them into the sky's area, after that I smeart the pieces and then I add deep tones using the GAMA mode and I desaturate them...
the other colours of course are a bit saturated more...

hahaha.... feal free to comment me... hahaha... in reality the sky was simple blue, I change it, I put the clouds and I desaturate it in heavy darkness so that have strong difference with the so ...sunny textures... normaly IF the sky was grey then the water also must be grey... but here is blue! :-)

in the real photo, the sky was 100% blue... I desaturate and I use parts of clouds from other photo and some paintwork to add some more drama...

Beautiful light effect with the dark clouds as the background, you're getting better with this painting job you're doing, hope you could teach me how to do your stuff.. the contrast is fantastic with the textures seen.

I like this image very much John !! The colors are what I like the most -- how the water changes colors, the textures and tones both in the castle and the sidewalk- the castle (Koules) has very good details too - then to balence the image with the buoy of red,white, and blue is perfect !!! 7/7

Nice atmosphere John. Color contrasts and relics of the past and present in harmonic composition. Wished being here and enjoy. But for how long ? In a few minutes it could all change and we should look for shelter as heavy rainfall can destroy this peaceful situation. Also other emergency situations are nicely suggested by putting modern safety equipment on the foreground.
