About	This is the B&W version of my previous posting "Woman". I said that I would work later on a B&W version of that image and so I did. During the conversion process I wanted to concentrate in her state of mind and I knew by our conversations that she was missing home; I'm sure that at this moment her mind and soul were there.The conversion was not easy as there are many different ways to process the image and there are very few, maybe just one that will represent "the moment". This is the one I liked the most, Kodak TriX emulation, green filter, sepia toning and heavy tonal/curves adjustments for zoning it properly. Hope you like it! I said before... A friend, in deep thoughts, from Somalia in China at the Forbidden City. Enjoy!

Just as I thought my dear Franjo ... even more dramatic, intense, stronger emotions and feelings although it is the same portrait ... more, much more expressive ... this look in her eyes and facial expression are so story telling, glad you have converted it, precious and it hurts while I am looking at her !!! More than excellent my dear !!! It seems that colors deffenetly takes our eyes away from deep and sad emotions ...
