The Britzer Muehle was build in 1856 and rebuild in 1985. Even today they teach young students in how to become a Mueller or Müller like we say in Germany.
The picture was taken in a night of very intense fogging (in the background) collored by the city lights from a nearby street. The Windmill is midden in the city of Berlin, in the Townsektion of Britz (in the South of Berlin) .
Excellent night photography, the lighting control on the windmill itself is great, the clouds in the background show through enough to add interest. A shame about the bright light off to the right, but that section of the image could easily be cropped out. These spotlights are great for night shots, but can make us weep when pointing towards us :) Good detail and sharpness.
Very nice! Wonderful composition, and I love the cloudy night sky! The only thing I find a bit distracting is the bright light off to the right under the willow tree.
