Veramente graziosa, mi piace il punto di vista, e la naturale compoistezza dei gabbiani. Sembra che tu stessa ti sia trasformata in uno di loro, con la macchina fotografica al collo...

che bello!

Bonjour Chere Michele!
What a wonderful and natural composition with a great POV. Very well presented in B/W. I love the depth feeling in this shot. Seagulls seems to me so social regarding your point of view.
Bravo Chere Michele.
Warm Hugs.

Dear Paul ,

Thank You for the kind yet very helpful comment about the sky -
I had over-exposed my image and thought maybe I could repair it with black & white rather than to loose the image - but I learned a lesson by my mistake here :)) Soooooooo this is good -

I am still learning every day something new about photography as well as other countries and people - It's very interesting ...... I wish that You could help me with your camera skills as well -

Who knows (?) one day ..... maybe we will be in the same space geographically as well :))
Hugs, and kisses , Michele~

Hi Joe - Thank You so very much for your time and trying to help me with my problems here :)) I've been gone for a few days or I would've gotten right back to you - Please know how I couldn't be more appreciative to get your help - Yeah it's not the dial for different modes that's messing me up as much as it seems to be the tiny button directly behind the on/off switch with the +/- signs- to the left of the info button .....

Can I ever get this back into an automatic mode - or is just by leaving it to the center best and not moving it around to a + or minuus sign ????????????????

I am hoping this makes sence and you won't give up on me - I do have a book I should probably read again - but also I realize we all have limited amts of time -
Again 'thank You for yours '

Your Friend ,
Michele~

Dear Michele,
Do we have always to believe what seagulls say ?
Do they really work ? and if not yet would they maybe do after elections ? :-)

The great thing of your seagulls is their focus on looking around, not wasting their energy in useless walking and flying around, just using their eyes only. We all should do.

Dear Michele, putting myself in the modest but respectful position of a seagull I notice that not our bread but our sky was cut into pieces. The gray scale contours where did they come from? If the sky is always our limit, what limits were set here ? Dear Michele I would like to give you wings tonight and find any possible solution together with you.
Hugs and kisses, Paul

Hi Darling,
Have you tried resetting your camera? ( there is a tiny button in a recessed hole in between the sockets where you plug the pc connection). Maybe this will help. Let me know if I can help with anything :)
xoxo,
Julie.

That explains it.
To set the camera so it automatically sets the expose you turn the dial on the top right as shown in the attached image to auto (green icon). Or is it another setting that causing you problems?

Hmm... I'd be carefull if I were you, Michele. Judging by the way these gulls are working the camera, I'd say they are Alfred Hitchcock fans. Have you ever seen 'the birds?'

Hey Joe !

Thank You for yet another great lesson - my exposure - the ev -setting was off- I don't know how to get it back onto automatic so I have been adjusting each image - bbbbbbbbuuuuut on this image it was not changed 'obviously ' and the color was washed out . I tried to repair it with my limited sources and was not able too - then thought maybe I could do it in B+W BUT alas I could not - these UF professionals notice it all :)) and for this I am greatful when You speak out - so I will never do this again :)) It has been a couple good days of lessons I've learned with these images and I thank you my friend -...

PS I do prefer color as well - but - well you know the story :((

All the best,
Michele~ Ohhhhhhhhh and Thank You ONCE AGAIN !

Hello my dearest Nicki !!!! You know these guys already ate the bread -lol!!!
I did not have good exposure as I was shooting too fast and am not on automatic with the ev settings ... the lighting did not turn out so good - I was hoping to cover that mistake up by using B+W but guess I can not do it to the professionals here -hahaha!!! I tried tho as I did like the composition -
Thank You for your very kind comment my sweetie - as always I am so appreciative for your time and words, they teach me a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love from sunny Oregon ,
Michele~

I agree with the others Michele, great pov, I like the composition with the cliffs to the right and the people in the bg.
I see problems with the b&w transfer, colour banding in the sky and blown whites on the gull. As I'm sure you know, I prefer a colour shot.
All the best,
Joe
