Hey Phil, Outstanding capture here, Love these big Moths. How big would you say his wing span is?? He's beautiful!! I captured a big Moth I'd never seen before here in Michigan. He has a 6 inch wing span and he's beautiful. Turns out it's an Imperial Moth found mostly in the south east US. Here's a link.Check it out. Yea, this is a silk-moth(Polyphemus),man(Homo-Sapiens)... Good color and sharp image...I think he's lookin' at You...

Thanks, Dave. This guy, I found out, is a giant silkmoth (Polyphemus). He came in like a bat, and until I saw him, I reacted as to a bat. He then landed and sat for a few shots. Thanks again, Phil
