About My niece holding my nephew on his first day home from the hospital, eight days old and each one a miracle. The tube in his nose is a feeding tube, due to additional medical problems it has since been placed directly into his stomach. He turned nine months old on April 19! His prognosis is still a question but he is beautiful and his hair turned red like mine! The picture scanned fuzzy (the sharpen feature just made it look very pixilated) and there is no hot spot on the blanket on the orginal print.

Thanks for the comment John. Actually, this is the picture without any adjustments from the scanning software. The sharpener tool made it look even more pixilated so I left it alone. Unfortunately, I do not have Photoshop and my scanner is a cheap one. Both are on my wishlist. I spent last year's income tax return on the camera and lenses that I have now. We'll have to see what this year's will bring. :)

Nice composition and a cute baby. Try and rescanning the shot and don't play with your scanning software controls. Do you have Photoshop?
