I am not surprised by the relatively low ratng of 5 for this one, I suspect there's a bit of photographers' eyes looking at this rather than an aesthetic appreciation... the colours are simply beautiful, warming, passionate! The lighting is absolutely perfect, just guiding the tops of the petals, giving the shape and alittle texture whilst not detracting from the smooth, proto-sensual effect... love it!  ) SwanShaz

I believe that the shallow DOF created an interesting effect, even if it were not the primary intention. Great colors.

Beautiful trial, but laks abit of DOF, it's always the dificulty in macro. Try the settings I used for my photo "RED".
