The Moon is one of my favourite objects. You have a nice shot. My camera can not capture Moon details. I get mine by using my camera and my telescope.

A very beautiful moon shot. the moon is so much prettier when it is not in full phase. I like seeing the jagged edges of the moon. It is interesting to see part of a crater lit and the base of the crater in the shadow of the moon.

Nalin,

Once again after having really enjoyed this image and this time to speak to you via Timothy ...

I really appreciate his comment and wonder what he would think if he would take a look at my images of the moon and provide such an honest comment as he has provided here ...

Amazing detail. I saw the moon like this, I was in northern Wisconsin at a Boy Scout camp and someone was there with telescope and built a moon light filter. It was like this, where I felt like I could just reach out and touch it.

Well done!

Hello Nalin,

By the 'axis' of the sothern most crater at around 4 0'clock and the 'waning' upper shadow already taken place this was indeed photographed yesterday evening 5 days after the full moon on the 13th and is quite clear of an image especially that you photographed it way up in the North Eastern States.

Thanks for sharing and you are more than welcome to take a look at my Lunar Scapes if you want.

Best of Regards!
