Gary for your kind words,,, my father is artist too (architect), so hi ask my to make portret of him and to see very little of him, couse he said I am 70 years old now and I dont like to show myself the way I look, I like the portrait to be a mystery, thats why I photographed him in this way,,,thnx. again Gary for support,,,

I like the graininess and the overall grittiness of the image. I don't think it matters that we can't see his eye, the portrait stands out so well anyway

I don't think the lighting You used in this portrait is the best. The person in the picture, I am sorry to say looks dead. I can't even tell if his eyes are open or closed. I think Your dad deserves a little sparkle in the eyes.
