Interesting comment. I was born a city boy. Gary, Indiana. My grandfather worked as a foreman in the steel mills. Michael Jackson’s father (Joe) was a laborer in my grandfather’s crew. Every Christmas my grandfather would get a card from “Joe Jackson and the Jackson 5” and he would open it and say, “Who the %&^# are these people?” and throw it away. I knew nothing but concrete and highrise buildings for the first 10 years of my life. I played baseball in a back alley. I was at Webster grade school when it was integrated in the mid 1960’s. Then I moved with my family to central Illinois (L-ih-noy) and my world was rocked. Over the decades I have come to not only appreciate but downright love country life. I have ridden in a combine at harvest time. I can walk along one of the major US waterways in the Illinois River just a few minutes from home. I can stand on my roof-top and see 40 miles across billiard table flat land. I can go out back at night (usually) and P in the field. My life has not always been wonderful… but the past few decades it has been brilliant… except for the politics of my state….I do have a bit of an issue with that. Anyway, when ya have several hours to waste, there are hundreds of photos here of my state and strange things I see during my waking hours. Thanks for taking the time going through my stuff. Here’s a link to one of my faves… and what I really love to do…. Write. Hunker down… it’s quite a read…. http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1196354
and here is another: http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1517036
That should be enough to give ya a bit of insight into my world. Jim

Actually, truth be told... that bit of compliment from you....
makes me smile.
We all like the compliment....
I didn't need to be told, but the fact I was...
makes me smile.
Thanks, man.
