Thanks heavens I didn't have to get on my knies for that, Gustavo. It was a roof at exactly the height of my eyes, and so it was easy for a man in my age. ;-)
Thanks a lot for the nice comment!

Thanks a lot once more, Marcio!
I second you with both things, the piece of sky (attachment) and the DoF. It goes really better without that blue piece and I can imagine it much better if the foreground was also included in the DoF.
Cheers!

Cloned off piece of sky at the top right after Marcio's suggestion |

Thanks a lot, Dave!
I rather tend to second Marcio in this case, who would rather use a larger DoF, but of course I am very glad to know that yoi find it OK as it is now.
Cheers!

Excelente composición, muy bueno el uso de la luz lateral y las sombras, te imagino arrodillado en el piso tratando de tomar esta foto!, buscando lo mejor que pueda dar la escena, only camera and lens in your hands!
Cheers!

Maybe you right..but I do not include the piece in blue sky too. Leaving only the foliage and rocks You could used a larger DOF... Very nice angle..I like it !!

I like the composition, and your selective focus, Nick! I don't think it hurts the shot to not have the foreground in focus at all. Dave.
