another photo from the meeting in turkey for iran.
we always say the world is watching. I sometimes feel "so what?" I sometimes think that all these governments know quite well that the world sometimes just watches... besides, are we still watching?.. iran, iraq, turkey, china, honduras...?
Oh yes, dear Zeynap, the world is watching. You make it watch. I tried the address you sent me but it was rejected & when I tried to give you mine, it was rejected too. I think you might google my name Dr. Rafael Springmann & find my address that way. Salem, Rafi
Yes Gary, I agree with you. For Iran I guess the lid is still not blown off really, it might go on cumulating for the years to come :( I think a big change will come some day for sure, but it all takes years and many lives :( our photos add to the collective memory of our times. be it a political scene, a journalistic one, or a landscape, I feel sometimes like we document the time here, from where we see it. I sometimes feel hopeful for all this communication. We somehow make it harder to deny genocides and state terror now, which is far better than nothing.. Thanks for looking and commenting :) All the best zeynep
It's cumulative, it all adds up and up until the lid blows off. And photography, of course, plays it's part. Your image, for example, will be viewed for years to come. Regards, Gary
