Yes, I'm a native Oregonian and love it here, too. This was taken right downtown on Mill Creek here in Salem, near the State Archives building. Your version looks good, too, Randy.:)

I love these kind of images. The northwest is a great place to live isn't it? Where was the image taken?
You helped my image out, so may I return the favor. I have been playing around with the GIMP program and learning it's basic functions to do image cleanup on my slide to CD conversions.
I used GIMP's Burn/dodge tool do tone down the foreground. I think I went slightly too far with it, but hey, that's me. ;)
