obviously a better lighting would enhance the mood of the photograph better :)
Infact you misunderstood me again :) I have no problem with vignetting either...rather I love it :) But I only didnt like the way you used it in this particular shot. You should have been more careful while using vignetting :)
My best,
Krishnendu :)

thank you for asking,
what get my attention to the light ,is that right side is darker than the left side,it shows no intentional editing purpose to my eyes.
since you have asked, first ,it is digital you could do many shots with a different camera setup, and then just choose the best.
second ,my personal taste for this shot ,only if my imagination of the scene is right,is to expose the tub and the walls as much as you could ,just to show the white color details, but with no over brightened, and to expose the man as dark as his whole head looks in this shot,so as all his body.
I hope this will help.
best wishes.
Saad.

Wanderson, I am waiting to hear back from Dany. He doesn't really post online anymore so I e-mailed him so I can get a copy to show you. I couldn't find the copy he gave me 'cause it's in one of my old computers and I don't remember which one! =)

I will get back to you as soon as I get it. =)

I'm using a flashlight as source, so you think a 1 step aperture or exposition should be better?

Sorry Krishnendu, I misunderstood what you said... (damn Google Translator!)
Wikipedia helped me to know what "vignette" is. I'm using without knowing!
I'm using this aesthetic through all this project. Do you think a enhanced light should be better?

Oh Carmen, thank you very much!
I tried to find the Danilo Bazzano's photo, but i couldn't...
I just moved to a house with a bathtub (i've never had one before) and I'm using it to make a little project called "mistake". This one is my favorite too, but i think i should try a better light position and exposition next time.

Thank you again, Carmen.

The first picture I ever saw of somebody in a bathtub was of Sicilian photographer, Danilo Bazzano. That was almost ten years ago now and it is one of my favorite pictures of all time. I was reminded of that photo by this one. Which tells me that this as well is a great photo. =)
