About Taken at the same session as the other Sardinia sunrise I posted, this one was taken as I was finishing off a roll of Delta 100. The prints look better than the scan, mainly due to the good film and Zeiss lens.

Thank you all for your kind comments and suggestions -- they're very helpful to me.

Nanette, no, I didn't use a filter on these pics. The light was magical, and although I'm satisfied with the images I got from my tiny Rollei on a cheap aluminum tripod, makes me wish I had my heavy Mamiya tlr for these.

Nice and strong in B&W more of an abstract.......good balance of positive and negative space.........Good tonal range.......good job Robert

Blown out area looks cool....nice shot...hard to pick between the color and this one...hmmmm....if you are into cropping maybe try cropping to just after the beginning of the highest pinacle on the horizon and enlarge the picture. Also crop to just above the the sun on the top and just below its reflection on the bottom. Would put focus on the blown out area and the tower facing it. Just a suggestion for another image I see inside this image.
