Chris-
It was taken near my home in Lincoln Illinois out in the country between Lincoln and a little burg called Emdedn. There were at one point in time several of these bridges crossing a creek that winds through the countryside. Most of them are now left in twisted heaps in farmers pastures and replace by modern concrete bridges.

Scott,
I really like this shot! May I ask where was this taken?

Hi Scott, I really like this - lovely job on the sky. It's got a great "road to nowhere" aspect to it, the perspective really draws you in and kind of dares you to go along that road and see where it ends! I'm with Aurore - the centering of everything works really well with the symmetry and leading lines, particularly because it does seem to be geometrically _perfect_ centering! Great shot!

You've centered your horizon, you've centered your focal point, and yet... this is beautiful! There is a profusion of lines leading straight to the center; one cannot help but to be drawn in. And you've printed it yourself! Bravo! Being fairly new to the whole internet photo critique thing, it amazes me how many photographers give up control of their images after pushing the shutter release. This is such a wonderful photo, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for sharing. : ) Aurore
