Thank you for your observation Francois but I'm not too sure if I can agree. It was a difficult bright day as I recall and the sun on the grass made metering difficult. I decided to catch as much detail in the tree trunk, bench, it's shadow and the foliage of the shrub and let the grass look after itself. Best wishes my friend.

very interesting composition. However, I don't know if it is because of the screen, but I think that contrast is missing, so that the picture looks rather overexposed. What do you think of that ?

Hi there Riny, it is so good to see you here. There are a few old friends on the 'new' site, it's good to see. Hope you are keeping well my dear old friend. I will post regularly BUT I don't want to become a slave to the site. I don't do much in the way of photography these days. I go out once a week with two friends and take general potshots :) There is always our garden and my wife's flowers (though not just now)plus family members especially my two new great grandchildren 
Thank you so much for stopping off, I will try and catch up on what you have been doing. Lots of beautiful work I have see so I need to linger longer. Take care Riny, very best wishes as always.
