A good shot. A very dramatic sky. The horizon is tilted slightly to the left, and this could be corrected easily enough in Photoshop or something like it. You might try this shot from a slightly different angle. I think you lose some drama by taking this shot straight-on. If the line of the pier flowed from left to right, say, at a slight angle, I think the photo would be more interesting. Also you might crop out the figure in the left foreground, the woman in the red shirt. I think that spot of red is a distraction.
I like this image I have been doing a lot of that the last couple of days that is fishing. I like people images nice shot of the people on the pier. I read your forum about comments if they did the limiting because of bandwidth I would understand better. I like to hear feed back or just acknowledgement that someone took the time to view your image. If your looking for how to improve your images I can do that too I would prefer to see the better part of someones image so I don't hurt his or her feelings but I'm also happy to give suggestions if they want.
