After driving way out into the countryside and taking an old dirt road, on the outskirts of a small Texas town. You find yourself hiking in to an area that has been barricaded by huge piles of clay/mud to keep traffic out. Once over or around the barricade a few more feet and you are standing at Bridge Past.
The bridge is condemn and the wilderness is growing quickly around the old Bridge as if to keep it company, now that no longer does anyone have use for it.
In the Bridge?s time, it connected families, work, education and wellness all together. It stands as though there are stories seeping through it?s frame. It was here long before I and I am glad to have made the hike to Bridge Past.
