Severe thunderstorms pounded northern Alberta on Sunday night. A small town (Grimshaw) was hit by a tornado causing millions in damage. Fortuneately no one was killed. I was nearby at Fawcett Lake, Alberta at the time, waiting out the storm and keeping a close watch on the sky. Around midnight, the worst seemed over and for about 10 minutes, the sky turned a bright red and a large rainbow arced across the land.
