Great capture overall, particularly the boy's express. I have to agree that the girl's legs are distracting, and that having the feet cut in half gives an unnecessary impression that something is missing. I'd definitely play with the crop to see if you can come up with a composition that more wholly supports his expression.

I think this picture is great,has an high emotive content,the kid looks comfortable, not scared with camera.I agree, no crop at all.If we follow purists,the perfect picture shell be a white and virgin sheet of paper.

Cute pic. Only critique i have is perhaps a tighter crop, or at least remove the legs on the right hand side of the pic, or maybe clone it out. Other than that, great shot! I like the sincere expresson on the kids face.
