So lovely capture again! Although on my screen the right side of the face seems a little bit dark and I can't see the eye. (Perhaps it's just my screen, I don't know). I thought too that the background is a wall... probably because of that shadow thing on top right side. Anyway, beautiful bird and very sweet the way it's eating the berry while looking at you! Ps. My son and his finger... haha... now when you say it, it does look like wrong pointing finger! I don't think it was, but when I zoom in the photo it still look like that! And it looks like if he would have six fingers! (??) Probably one of the fingers is his nose.

Richard That isn't shadows falling on the background it is other leaves totally out of focus, the sun was behinnd and over my left shoulder. But I see what you are saying, it looks like a blue wall !!see entire photo attached.

Jim, I love the detail in the bird and it is certainly captured at the right moment, I can't understand the shadows behind the leaves on the right hand side, falling on the background, they give the impression of it being a solid background - Richard.

Jim, the background sure looks like a blue wall. I'm glad you said that it was the sky. Great shot with the berry in his beak. The light looks a little brighter than on your last few shots. Sharpness and color looks good. You have been selecting some tough shots with these small birds. I have done a little of that, but man it's hard to get close enough and have a good light. Most of the time they are in the shadows, at least down here in the jungles of Louisiana. Keep up the good work.

Excellent "capture" Jim! Personally I think one of your best, and I'm adding it to my favorites. You caught the "decisive moment" about perfectly, and the composition is very pleasing with the berries, limbs, and leaves.
