Thanks for the comments guys. I'm liking the square right now as it requires a little different thinking. And I miss my old Rolleiflex. Also I'm trying to push this little digital camera as far as I can.
Wayne, no problem with color, but I think some images are more enigmatic and carry much more emotional context when rendered in B&W.

I've been trying to find something constructive to say, but I'm at a loss. Instead, I'll say that this is wonderful!
BW was the right choice as was the square format. This just oozes, "fine art". Well done.

Nice rendering of the texture in the rock. The B&W looks good, was there a problem with the colour version ?
