I think this is stunning. The split wood and the nails have so much detail and the light really makes this image jump off the screen. Was the light natural? I only ask because the nails seems perfectly lit up. Anyways, this is one of the best images I'e seen in a while.

I'm guessing that it's peeling paint and nail heads on weathered wood.
Really neat abstract Ron. Sometimes the details in life are so fascinating! Great job capturing it. The mottled light adds great texture to a wonderful surface.
