Great detail an color and a beautiful subject. This is a very nice macro although perhaps lacking that extra something to make it a really original view. Although the reflection of the eyelashes doesn't bother me, the sky and partciularly the bright light just below the lid does distract a bit. I also find myself wanting to see just a bit more at the upper edge (rather than cutting just tangential to the lid crease).

Definitely a lovely eye - makes you want to see the rest of her face! I find the shadow of her lashes and the reflection of the sky on her eye to be distracting, though - I think that if the light were not quite so bright and direct this could be avoided. Maybe try it with her in bright shade, and looking toward something darker so that the entire iris can be appreciated. It is nice and sharp, and the skin tone is very nice. Good subject!
