Your entire portfolio is fantastic!
This one is very nice Sarah. Any chance you could tell me how the 2x converter works with the 70-200 VR. I have this lens but was told only the 1.4 teleC would provide the quality I wanted.

Thankyou for the effort with brilliant monument Sarah, I did as you suggested and tilted the picture 2 degrees, and worked the sharpness a little harder, but I can't get the right side of the monument as sharp as in the original.. it looks wavy. I like this shot, the rough texture of the bark has been softened nicely in this light, and the fungus comes out quite nicely, if you were to try and professionally light, I think it would look a little outlandish.. though if it is nearby give it a try. John mentioned crop the right, I would consider almost right to the bark, and getting in closer, swapping the horizontal axis for vertical.

Nice rich image with lush natural color. Lighting? I don't know.....I don't do lighting myself. The pros will probably want more light on the fungi. As for composition, I'd wack off a little of the left. I like these dark rich images!!!! [thanks for comment on "Tiger Wood". Some say tiger, some lion, and others just see it as an abstract]
