The blue "unironed" pillowcase doesn't distract anything to me. However, the harsh lighting hurts my old eyes. When I think of an orchid, I think of something soft, and fragile. This has a hard feeling to it. I think I would tone down the lights alittle and maybe use something as a diffuser. If you have a diffuser filter, I would use that, but if you dont, they are real easy to make. The side lighting doesnt seem to compliment the flower with the shadows it is throwing. Maybe a different angle. Remember that these are just the humble opinions of an senile old fart that is blind in one eye and cant see out of the other. Just dont give up!
