The perfection of this image is indescribable. So simple, so dramatic, so etheral but so clearly focused. Soft and curvey in perception, but geometric and and hard in reality. Such A nice NICE photograph. I congratulate the photographer for 1) for the composition, the squigglies of light on the stairs 2) for the extremes of darks and lights, 3) for the focus/detail in the wrought iron...... but mostly for NOTICING this very small accidental masterpiece and capturing it for us to enjoy.

I was on my way home. It was late afternoon and I saw the shapes on the stairs arising from the sunlight. It was so beautiful that I had to take my camera and took this photo.
