Bored on Guildford High street, determined to focus on people and impromptu portraiture but, you guessed it, ended up shooting architecture (no cranes about!). This is straight out of the camera, only squared sllightly in PS. I tried to overexpose a touch, combined with a yellow filter to bring up the contrast. The building is in guildford UK and used to be a hospital.
Thanks teunis, I'm having a real problem with B&W images on this site, someone suggested it could be colour space I'm working in, but every mono shot I post comes out 'soft', kind of lacking in definition. The print looks more contrasty and detailed on my screen. I have to hounest on reflection it doesn't look quite so special here, oh well! I might try posting them in RGB rather than greyscale.
