Excellent composition. Your final colors make it look like something one would expect to find on a postcard. Love the perspective with the road.

What awesome light you had! The golden hue really makes the old farmhouse stand out and I like how the road leads the eye right into the image. Everything works so well together!

Thanks for the comments, people. As far as PS work is concerned, I find that I have to increase the colour saturation with FinePix images sometimes. Also, I had to clone out a bird. It was so small it looked like dirt.

looks like you had great light, love the colors in this landscape, and an interesting composition for sure - it is such a contrast with a newlooking highway leading our eyes right through an old yardsite.

Hi Michael, Like your pic. Very attractive cloud formation and I like the bend in the road. Wales is one of my favourite places for photos, especially the Snowdonia area - just have to try and avoid the rain!!! The Finepix looks like a good camera - colours are well saturated. Did you work on this at all in photoshop?

Hi Michael, Thanks for the comment on Pembroke Castle. It's lovely to hear from someone else from Wales (I thought I was the only one!!). Anyway, on to your picture. I really like the way the road leads the eye into the picture. Also, that cloud formation is really interesting isn't it. Snowdonia is lovely isn't it. I haven't been for a number of years, but I soon hope to travel to north Pembrokeshire, to the Preseli mountains (I can do that in a day). Sorry to go on, it's nice to talk to someone who knows the area in which I live!!
Regards
Sarah
