A shot of my friend Kemdi, who surprisingly ended up looking a lot like Will Smith. I\'ll post other pics of her in the near future....pretty amazing how drastically different she looks in different shots.
Thanks a lot for your encouragement. Kemdi is a singer, so the fact that she is a performer makes her a lot of fun to shoot. We put on Jamiroqui and then she just went with it.
As far as lighting goes, we just used some lamps in my friend's apartment. I set up a desk lamp on her left-side and another tower lamp on her right-side.
Since I've gotten my digital camera I've been meeting with Cathy & Kemdi every Friday. I'll post more shortly.
Katia, the D60 is digital, hence no film type listed.
Michael, I agree with Katia and Marty about this photo. The image is pleasing to the eye and it makes the viewer care about the mystery of the person. Kemdi exudes a lot of personality in this shot (and didn't you have another one up?).
Very nice shot, Michael, I love the colours so much. How did you light it? YOu wrote, you set at 1000 iso, but with which kind of film? I'll be very happy, if you can answer.
