About Total fluke shot. I was going for a self-portrait in a simple brown glass sphere, but the camera picked up way more colour than my own eyes perceived.

Under impression of the movie "Sphere",or..? :)
However,it's interesting work.
I agree with others about black background.

Looks like an eye - the swirl at the bottom is really cool. Of course the background should stay in!

Yvon, I like the original better as well. Maybe I don't know anything either! :-P *lol*

Personally I prefer it with the background as it was originally. What do I know....

Thanks for the encouraging comments. :)

I took this photo while on a garden tour. The background is a plethora of purple petunias. I didn't think of covering them at the time, but now I'll be more mindful of my backgrounds.

Here's a quick and dirty PhotoShop fix. It's a much different feeling!

I agree with both Kim and Scott about using a dark background (dark green velvet, maybe?) or photoshopping it (Stalin-izing it, a friend calls it - removing the unwanted elements), and I'm also in agreement with them about the colours. This is really lovely. If you're aiming to take non-boring photos, you certainly are achieving your goal!

Very good work. Let's see more!

Very neat..I Love the colors.I think a black background would make this one very mystical.
Good work, I look forward to seeing more.

Hello stranger... vivid colours and interesting lines... almost too busy yet it all works so well together. What's the background? A simple black bg might have made the sphere have more impact.
Welcome to usefilm and can't wait to see more!
