6.30am, the night before was overcast and stormy - what a beautiful sight this was at dawn. This image is 2 35mm digital frames merged in Photoshop as a panorama. It could easily print up to 1.2M wide with full image quality - check my portfolio over the next few days for more in the same area. Walls of Jerusalem National Park, Tasmania
Roger - Thank you for the comments - You had an opportunity to punish me :-) but in the Japanese way you shamed me with your kindness. Perhaps one day I will have the courage to visit Japan and we can share a cup of warm Sake - at my expense of course - I too will look at more of your portfolio - personal email contact may be more appropriate - dtasker@netspace.net.au Regards David T
I see we share similar attitudes to post processing, and apparently a similar preference for landscapes (though where tyre valves fit in isn't too clear to me [g]). I love panoramas, and feel they often add impact and interest to a landscape. This is a good example. I respect anyone who uses PhotoShop to merge photos into a panorama. I've done my share of stitching, but it soon becomes too much like hard work. Now I prefer panorama cameras... like the one I used for the shot that disappointed you so much.
