The cat has a really nice pose. But you did not exlploit the possibilities offered by such a photo. The background should be totaly changed and even disappear. It would have accentuated the nice pose of the cat. You could have played with contrast. Go and buy Photoshop. It worths it.It help us to better interprete a traditional ordinary photo and make it a nice piece of art. It is my suggestion...
