Hi Paul, just a quick general technical note. I've got e-mail notification set on, so I will find your replies if you post them underneath your photo where I commented. It's more convenient that way as it's easier for everyone to follow all the questions and answers and thoughts within a single thread of comments.
Anyway, keep posting, I enjoy viewing your work (even if I don't comment every time). Street/City is my favourite genre.

I like the presence of the lamp, and the way it's perfectly aligned with one of the lines of the skyscraper. Together, the shadows cast onto the building and the silhouette of the lamp create a shape that looks like a large freight boat. That's what makes this image interesting for me.
