Thank you all for your kind comments!
I experimented with changing the contrast, as Jose suggested. In order to do that, I had to isolate the bright spots and "add noise." I'm not sure about it now- can you see the difference? Opinions welcomed.

Hi Katharine. Is not a bad work! I really like it, the grain seems very well. But I would prefer less contrast, I mean the white part of the face.
But of course, is only my point of view ;)
