This is a beautiful shot - the selective lighting works wonderfully to make the flower almost glow. A few of the petals are blown out - something you might want to tweak a bit with the burn tool in PhotoShop. If you think spotted sunlight might give you difficulties with a macro, you could always try to diffuse the sun with something semi-transparent, or just get a friend to create an eclipse for you. :)
Thanks for taking the time to look through my portfolio. Unfortunately, it's difficult to get comments on images that aren't top-notch, professional-looking landscapes. If you want to get more comments, you have to put a lot of time in and try to foster mutual relationships with people who give thoughtful critiques. It's time-consuming work, but worth it if you're looking to learn and improve. :)
