One of the very first pictures I took was one of the moon. Armed with a 1932 Kodak Jiffy hand held behind a 60mm refractor, I ended up with nothing more than an over-exposed, out of focus blob. But it was the first step in discovering the joy and wonders of both photography and astronomy. This was taken with a 120mm refractor, unguided, camera was mounted to the eyepiece with a Scopetronic adapter. The eyepiece was a 32mm Plossl. Levels edited in Photoshop
jim, i only have one word for it: amazing! obviously you encountered your passion very early and never forgot about it. i am just a photographer and share your fascination for the moon and the stars but have not much of idea about them. do you happen to know what about the distance is from where we would see the moon like this if we could just travel there? regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid
