Great tones, textures and curves in the composition. Velvia seems to convert nicely to B/W!! Love that gnarly tree... gnarly trees are the best. :-) The tree grabs the attention versus the storm.

Excellent b/w conversion! The shot is very Ansel like and I that appeals to me. I would really like to see this shot in a huge print.

Very nice... The storm doesn't show up really well in this small format. This is, perhaps, an image that really needs to be seen large to be truely appreciated. Great spot this. I've been there a couple of times and this is excellent work.

Slightly different than your usual Kenneth Kwan image, though still eyecatching. I really like the foreground tree, and the otherworldly backdrop. Another place on this planet that I have to visit one day. Overall a very balanced composition.

This is a beautiful image. I don't think there is enough emphasis on the approaching storm.
