I think this image is very even more powerful with the overtone of "alone." Maybe the viewer is "alone" in the way they perceive the situation at hand, maybe the crowd is "alone" in the world and fighting the masses. Because you choose to put this image in the category of "alone" it makes this strong image that much stronger because it causes me to think about what is really happening in the scene.
