It's an interesting contrast that should keep the viewer's interest. I like it :)

Paul,
yea they are darker. Some of them were made of sandstone, some of granite.

I like it... the fence becomes a nice foreground that helps underscore (terrible pun intended) the subject matter at hand. I can't tell if it's the small size of the image (due to the size restrictions here), or if the headstones on the right all look a bit darker than the ones on the right... maybe my mind's playing tricks on me? :)

Paul,
no problem, happens all the time :) Yeah, I see your point about composition. When I started to think about cropping an area, I'd came to a sligthly different part of a pic. Please take a look. And thank you for your comment.
All the best

Ah... I've made a fool of myself and submitted the wrong image :)
How about this one? It's really nothing more than me cropping out an area that I think might be more interesting to me. It's all a matter of personal opinion of course ;)
Thanks for the wonderful shot!

Frankly, can't see much difference. The composition is unchanged. What did you do with it? Soften?

I think you've found a great subject, and I like the contrast. However, the image feels a little busy for my taste. I'd see this something like the attached... What do you think? :)
