Of all the photos in your portfolio this one caught my eye. I am a graphic artist too (at least they pay me to pretend I am one) and this one presents itself as the most "graphic" of all your images. The longer I work in this biz the more I'm drawn to simple, monochromatic, uncluttered images. We are constantly bombarded with fast, flashy, vivid, loud, in-your-face... This pic is so soothing, so soft, so simple. I am also a little jealous, I've been trying to get a good fog pic for many a year. I live near Lake Michigan and am too lazy to venture down in the wee hours of the morn to capture fog, so I will simply enjoy this image. Nicely captured.

Good Morning Troy
I finally read my usefilm page. Thank you for adding me to your list of friends. I appreciate the fact that you think enough of my photography to do me the honour. May you and yours get all your Christmas Wishes.

Hello Troy
This is very good exposure here and the monochromatic tone lends to the mystery of where the elevated road leads. I'm not sure how I feel about all the negative space but the photograph is interesting and well done. Fog is a difficult thing to photograph. Thank you for your comments on "Tranquility" Annapolis is a beautifuly preserved place. I was captivated by the old part of town.

The atmosphere is really good, enhightened by the composition and perspective. Thank you for your comment on my Rock Abstract, I have already found I now fall between two stools but I do things to please myself. If others enjoy them, that is a bonus to me. I have always felt that photography is another extension of art (and I am unable to produce pure art because I am unable to draw and previsualise an image although when I take a photo I can see what it could be) and as such we are entitled to use whatever means to produce the image we like. But thank you again for your kind comments.Regards Marie

I wish all the elevated highways would disappear into the fog -- permanently. At least until I have to drive somewhere. What I like most is the subtle ambiguity of the subject which, shrouded in fog, takes on an artistically appealing sense of shape and form. Artistry not being something I usually (if ever) associate with US highway construction projects. --jim
