I read 2 comments on the color of the fence, one from Jim the other from Anthony. Thank you folks a lot for pouring in your thoughts. But the fact is the fence had a reddish color - its not due to bad scanning or due to any color cast. Regards.

i was drawn to this by the composition, and felt compeled to give my 2 cents
in improving it, so what I feel would give it more depth and focus would be
to remove the redness from the bridge and bring in a darker and more intense
and truer color of the bridge

Your image has a bit of a orange/red cast to it. I've attached an adjusted version (contrast only) of your image. Hopefully the difference is apparent. Look on the posts of the fence. You'll see a little more green moss. Great capture of color. Perhaps the size of the image is not helping, but your image doesn't seem to have a very strong area for the eye to focus on. The fence leads you into the image fairly well, but not to anything too obvioius.
