About Help Please! I'm not seeing exactly what went wrong with this shot (other than slight oe and amateurish camera).

Any comments or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned your choice of film. If it was Kodak Max 800 that probably has a lot to do with the dull, poor color. Try Kodak Gold 100, Portra 400UC or, even better, a slide film like Fuji Astia 100F or Provia 100F.

Thanks guys, I see the tilt and agree with the harsh light. I'll try it again soon to see if I can get a better capture soon. Re the bridge, I'm not that talented with PS and could never put that bridge there. Mr. Ppdx, if I shot this very close to the beach area near the Seaquarium and from that angle that is where the bridge lined up in the shot. Comparing your shot with mine I agree that based on the angles the bridge shouldn't be there but I swear I didn't put it there post development. It looks like your shot, which is beautiful btw, was taken from the other side of the causeway, perhaps near or just after Sunday's on the bay.

I'll give it another shot soon.

Thanks again to all.

Tilt! I had the same problem with one of mine. I stuffed it in PSE and mad the adjustment and now it looks better.

Are the subject in the water for real or pixel editing?

The light seems very harsh, almost over exposed in a way.

Keep it sharp!

Here is your shot... Well, my shot, with the right colors... I tried to fix yours but there is no way...

Hi Isaac. Actually my girlfriend lives in Key Biscayne :-)

The main thing is the horizon line. It is crooked, like Raymund pointed.

Second. I know those buildings by heart and they are lacking all color. The whole image looks colorless and dull.

Third, that bridge doesn't belong there :-) You did a pretty good job putting it there though..

Is this a composite of 3 pictures???

Cheers
