About	before the heavy frost of last week I took a few shots of our bed of Chinese lanterns and kapok vestiges. Got enough of a crop to be able to explore a combination of the initial take with photoshop manipulations. I am having fun learning all this. It\\\'s almost like being let loose in acandy store (without the competition of other kids of course!!)

Original idea. I like the combination of geometry and the tiny branch. I agree with Ursula. The branch is overexposed but I think that it was your intention to have it that way. It fits pretty well in this surreal composition and with the vivid autumn colours

The strong colours are beautiful in this picture. For my taste, the branch looks a bit overexposed (or overprocessed), but I love the idea of combining a branch like that with the shapes and colours. Good thinking!
