Perspective is fantastic. Usually you can see the spider on photos from above and here you gave us possibility to look him right in the eyes. Background is also very nice. It looks like snow. Pozdrav Peri Detlicu od Atomrava.

Yes, the "sharp zone" can be clearly seen here. And IMHO, for more impact you need to go closer and place the front of the spider well within the sharp zone, it doesn't matter if his back is less sharp.

Yes the shallow depth makes this work. If the spiders legs were a bit more in the sharp zone and you were a bit closer it would add to the impact. good idea!
