Another diner photo, this one of the Towson Diner in... Towson, MD. For my inspiration for these diner photos, see those of Carl Root on Photo.Net at http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=306181
Steve, Thanks for the link to Carl Root's portfolio. It's really great stuff. I didn't realize that Montgomery County had so many diners. You need to get back to Double T. Maybe I'll run into you there! :)
Steve, Interesting composition here. I didn't know there was anything this interesting in Towson! :) (I'm from Baltimore.) I agree that the phone/power lines add to the image. Good eye to notice and conceive this image.
Great composition, just bad timing. You did a good job on fixing up what could be done, but it give it more of a painting effect, which isn't a bad thing, I'm just not sure if that's what this photo needed. Try re-shooting on a brighter day. Also, I think the phonelines look good in the picture.
I suppose the bottom is ok. It looks like you added a filter to the top and it is not as clear. I see some of the telephone lines or power lines in the background. If you really like the pic, you could take the phone lines out in Photoshop. Just my opinion. Keep it up.
